About Me

  • I Am:
A gleefully divorced, ecstatically attached 33-year old. Mother to one 7-year old scary genius child. Newly inducted Cubmaster of my son's Cub Scout pack. I love winemaking, running, scrapbooking, running, photography, knitting and running, but who the hell has time for any of that? Except for the running. That, I have time for.

Put A Cork In It

  • Wines in the Making:

Cru Select Special Holiday Edition Orange Chocolate Port Style - in the carboy, and likely to be there for a really damned long time.

WinExpert Selection Original Series Luna Rossa - bottled, needs labels!

WinExpert Selection Speciale Riesling Icewine Style - ready to start

WinExpert Limited Edition Chilean Carmenere Cabernet Sauvignon - aging since July 2006

Next on my wish list: WinExpert Selection Symphony (a nice, all-purpose white); WinExpert Selection Speciale Cabernet Franc Icewine Style (I'm into the dessert wines lately).

No clue what any of this means? You can find out here!

Ahahaha, that was FUNNY! :)
(Being Swedish the vcery thought of hockey being canceled due to snow is rather preposterous to me).

Surfed in here through blogexplosion and am loving what I see.

Even when we got almost 2 feet of snow (only slight exaggeration), I still had to go to work! Though I do remember one Christmas when I got stranded at my parents' house in a blizzard. By the 3rd day, my sister was bundling up to "run away" for a few hours and I was paying neighborhood kids to dig my car out of the snow.

Recognizing irony is what allows us to survive an insane world. I don't know who Michelle is but I love, love, love your name. Returning your visit, you are very clever.

I like the irony in thay; I can imagine the ice hockey being called off if was too warm, not too cold!

Michele sent me here.

chelle

hehe you totally made me giggle out loud! I hope the snow does not put a damper on any more of your plans.

There is a lot of irony in your day. School was canceled here yesterday due to weather--mostly ice however, we got only a few inches of snow, but that was on top of the ice. here from Michele's
